Lani was introduced to beading in April 2000. Immediately she knew she had found her passion. With a studio in her home, she opened up the doors to her design jewelry business, appropriately named "Custom Jewelry By Lani".

The base of her jewelry is Swarovski Austrian Crystal. She adds a rainbow of sparkling colors with faceted gemstones, pearls, and unique findings. Each design being colorful and different. In addition, each piece has her signature tag on it to assure you it is an original.

Lani began selling her designs in New Mexico, Oregon, Illinois, Texas, Nebraska, Missouri and many locations in Arizona. Since that time she choose to reach out to a larger clientele by creating her own website.

Lani has done large trade shows as well as the high-end artist shows. She is always looking to expand her business in new ways. In 2001 she was commissioned to design the jewelry for a wedding. Doing this, she realized how much she enjoyed the personal one-on-one involvement with someone's special day. Although she now does a large majority of her work with brides, bridesmaids, and bridal parties, she still follows her original passion for working with an array of color and vibrant stones to create the perfect compliment to any women's wardrobe. You can find her designs in multiple bridal publications throughout the wedding industry and she has been featured or recognized on all local television stations.

"On A Personal Note"
Lani lives in Arizona with her husband Sam, and their two children, Beau & Maggie. Her family & friends provide constant encouragement and support which are invaluable in keeping her dream moving forward.

When asked what inspires the passion you feel, Lani answered, "All the colors! When I sit down to design a piece of jewelry I start with the color, adding an assortment of shapes for dimension and textures to enhance the effect the design has on the eye. .
